Kitchen Time Can Mean Family Time!

Watching HGTV shows is a guilty pleasure and can actually give you great ideas to help you decorate your home. Sometimes we find that we know exactly what we want but just don't know how to put into words or make it happen.

One of the things we've recently seen is the incorporation of bringing the family more into the kitchen. Before there was such a disconnect between the parent baking/cooking in the kitchen and the rest of the family. After a long day of work the last thing you want to do is spend all your time in the kitchen and miss seeing your family who you've been away from all day.

Here in this image from an episode of Fixer Upper you can see that they added a dining table right there in the kitchen. What a great idea! Now the family can join in on the fun and visit and get quality family time in while dinner is being prepared.
